D Minor Recording

Well the first part of my day was great….but the trip home was cut very short.  I didn’t get very far as my quick release clutch on the seat post snapped clean off!!! Yes, my first day of commuting was only a morining commute.  I took the bike straight to the LBS and they are going to repair the clutch or replace it with something more robust.  I’m not the biggest guy, but I’m not a skinny mini either…so hopefully it was just the quality of the part and nota “weight” issue.

They are also going to change back the tires to the original stock tires…I think they are from the Kenda brand.  I just didn’t like the Michelin’s the replaced them with and thought that a “nobbier” tire would suit me better.  The reason they swapped them out in the first place was due to the fenders I purchased.  They had to order new ones that will fit with the stock Kenda tires.  Still waiting on the call to come pick up the bike.
